I liked today's reading in The Relationship Principles of Jesus.  Tom Holladay's thoughts on demanding reminded me of experiences that Kathy and I have had with our children in which one of them became so demanding for something that we actually wanted to give them that we didn't give it to them because we felt controlled and manipulated.  Demanding creates a win-lose situation; asking in dependence with trust allows the possibility of a win-win and is definitely the way to go - or else ;-)

Dear Friends:  I found today's reading to be excellent, especially the reference to Les Miserables and it reminded me in a small way of a personal experience.
